It is helpful to become as clear as you can on identifying your purpose. When you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there. We will be publishing a series of articles designed to help you you where the dots are. Then, we are believing that God will show you how to connect them where your life is concerned. Our job, is to help you take as much of the guess work out of your life as possible.
You are NOT a human being ‘trying’ to become more spiritual. Each and every one of us was created with the inner guidance for a clear path to your spirituality and divine purpose. You are a spiritual being having a human experience.
More specifically you are a supernatural spirit being with infinite potential and this reality puts us in a special category honored by God. The good news is that you don’t have to try to be who you already are. And, nobody can give you what is already yours. That’s right! In a world where you are constantly bombarded with confusing messages, competing loyalties, fear, anxiety, cultural pressures, false narratives, political porn and just plain error, life can seem to be as clear as mud.
However, there is hope and a path to clarity of thought and low-error thinking. There is a way to create meaning in an expanding meaningless world. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t hate the world. I don’t think that you should either.
There is just a whole lot of noise in it. Too much noise can mean that it is sometimes very hard to hear the sound of truth. Just because something is loud doesn’t make it true. Just because someone is sincere doesn’t mean that they are right. People can be sincerely wrong. The truth is that you are made in the image and likeness of God. You are a spiritual being that possesses a soul, lives in a body and interacts with a natural world through human experiences. Not the other way around. Your spirit is the ‘real’ you. It is the part that is eternally connected directly to God.
There is an ancient proverb that teaches, “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord searching the inward parts of the belly.” (Proverbs 20:27) You are a spirit and God is a spirit. The way in which God communicates with you is a spirit to Spirit connection. Let’s call it a direct connection. It is not a self-help maneuver or exercise. It is a spiritual reality that lives inside you. God is a Spirit and we must worship God in Spirit and in truth.
Spirit and truth are two words that are connected directly to God. This is very important, as this is indeed how you are connected to God in both spirits and in truth. There are ways to strengthen and to become more aware of your spirit as well as the Spirit of God.
